Green Day is Brave

On the cover of a recent Maxim Blender, I saw the following quote from Billie Joe Armstrong, the lead singer of green Day:

"We're not afraid to criticize America"

That's brave. To actually have the guts to not cower in fear of a government that Constitutionally guarantees a right to free speech. It takes a real man to criticize a country with NO fear of retribution from its government, a government that was constructed as the greatest experiment in human freedom in history. What's next for Green Day? Are they going to come out and say that they're not afraid to vote? Own property? Drink alcohol?

I am in complete awe of the courage shown by Billie Joe.
