A Few Good Men
On Human events online, they have a ranking of the top 10 members of Congress who are fighting for lower taxes. (No surprise that there are no Democrats on that list) Numbers 3 and 1 are true out-of-the-box thinkers! (I highlight what they've proposed that I love). I wish I could vote for them........
3. Rep. Jeff Flake (R.-Ariz.) Sponsor of a bill to require the Congressional Budget Office to use dynamic scoring for proposed tax cuts and co-sponsor with Rep. Ron Paul of a constitutional amendment to repeal the 16th Amendment. Consistent proponent of tax cuts and opponent of spending increases.
1. Rep. Ron Paul (R.-Tex.) Co-sponsor with Rep. Jeff Flake of a constitutional amendment to repeal the 16th Amendment and end income, gift and estate taxes. Regularly pushes for tax cuts. Sponsor of bills to allow tax credits for private school tuition, to permit tax deduction of college tuition and to stop all taxation of Social Security benefits. Opposes all unconstitutional spending programs.

Repealing the 16th Amendment. Now that is some very forward thinking! It's just sad that not too many others in Congress believe in leaving more money where it belongs - in the hands of those who PRODUCE wealth!
